JM: Tell us about the pre-sentencing process:
Tim: It takes about three to four months.They offerd
me a deal.I didnt like the deal.So I had to sit
in jail even longer.They really dont want to
spend the money to take it to trial.Finally they
came to me with a deal i liked.
JM: Did you have police stop by your house for questioning?
Tim: yes they came by a few times to question me.
JM: What was your court appearance like?
Tim: Waiting for your court appearance is what takes
the longest.Then your in front of the judge for
just a few minutes.The judge has your life in
his hands and its verry scary
